Executive Team
Nicky Pappo, Founder and CEO
has over 20 years of experience in leading hi-tech companies and teams. Before founding
Velingo, Nicky held many high-level leadership positions, including VP of R&D at Eliashim
(which was acquired by Aladdin ALDN).
In 1998, Nicky founded PassCall which was one of the
first Cellular Internet companies. Nicky led PassCall to two rounds of investments
(totaling $8m) and to major deals with worldwide telecommunication companies. Nicky holds a
Bachelors of Science in Computer Sciences from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology,
and an MBA from Bradford University, UK.
Eyal Steinitz, VP Business Development
has more than 8 years of experience in marketing especially in the consumer branding. Before joining Velingo, Eyal founded and managed
a marketing consultancy company. His vast experience in the area of marketing and consulting helps focus Velingo on
its goals and targets.
On a personal note, Eyal is a professional mountain biker and was
Israel champion from 2003-2005.
Omer Ben Bassat, Director of R&D
has over 8 years of software development and management experience. Prior to joining Velingo, Omer managed a software development group at Commtouch (CTCH). Omer holds a Bachelors of Science in Computer Engineering from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology.
Uri Felzenstein, Director
is an owner and active manager of several businesses in Israel. Uri brings to Velingo an extensive background as a recognized expert in accountancy, finance and tax laws. He has more than 40 years of business leadership experience that serves Velingo at these critical development and marketing stages.
